33 FIFTY usually operates on a ratio of 1 field supervisor per 4 fieldworkers. This ensures effective management of people and the data collection process. In addition, constant interaction between the quality assurance and fieldwork teams is always maintained. The quality assurance team accompanies fieldworkers during the first two days in order to provide in site support to fieldworkers. Then the quality assurance team checks the questionnaires both in the field and in the office in order to ensure that there are zero defects on the questionnaires. Finally, the quality assurance team returns to respondents if there is a need for any further clarification. We have control over all stages of the research process, from design, and data-gathering, to analysis and report production. Our in-house fieldwork unit, which consists of field staff who have more than 15 years field logistics experience, ensures that data collection is executed to the highest standards under constant and tight supervision. We also undertake fieldwork, such as surveys, focus groups and interviews, for other organisations.
